The Department of Psychology at Florida State University (FSU) invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in BEHAVIORAL/SYSTEMS NEUROSCIENCE with an anticipated start date in early August 2026.
Candidates with lines of laboratory research in any area of Neuroscience are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to applicants whose research programs synergize with existing departmental strengths in chemosensation, learning and memory, neuroendocrinology, and the neurobiology of motivated behavior.

A doctoral degree or the highest degree appropriate from an accredited institution in Neuroscience or a related field is required.

UCF Faculty Hire
The UCF Disability, Aging, and Technology (DAT) faculty cluster is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor with expertise is neurostimulation, wearables, rehabilitation robotics, neuroengineering, and/or neurorehabilitation.
The candidate will be expected to conduct interdisciplinary research that strengthens both the DAT cluster and the candidate’s chosen tenure home unit (potential units include College of Engineering: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering that includes the Biomedical Engineering Program; College of Health Professions and Sciences: Kinesiology, Physical Therapy; College of Nursing: Nursing Systems; and College of Sciences: Psychology) and may include a combination of joint appointments. A strong advantage of this position is the ability of the candidate to choose a combination of units for their appointment. Both individual and interdisciplinary infrastructure and startup support will be provided with this new position.
