Join the Varela Lab – Explore the Neural Basis of Learning and Memory

We're looking for motivated researchers to join our team to investigate the circuit-level mechanisms of learning and memory in rodents. Our work combines cutting-edge electrophysiology recordings in freely behaving rats, closed-loop neural manipulations, optogenetics, and computational analysis.

We welcome candidates from various backgrounds and experience levels, whether you're seeking a postbac, PhD, or a postdoc position. 

We are in the Psychology Department at Florida State University.
