Research in animals is conducted to address questions about fundamental mechanisms of the nervous system and treatments for nervous system disorders that cannot be addressed by other means. FCNC strongly supports responsible, well-regulated biomedical research in animals, and stands strongly against those who attack animal research and researchers to the detriment of advances in human and animal healthcare and well-being.
